Kowalski & Associates was formed in 1993 by Jerry Kowalski, who has continuously functioned as its senior principal. Before forming the firm, Jerry Kowalski was the hiring partner for an international law firm, where he was responsible for the hiring of approximately 100 lawyers a year.
A 1976 honors graduate of New York Law School and a classically trained litigator with an international law firm, Jerry has substantial experience in the management, growth, marketing and expansion of law firms, both in his prior role as a law firm partner and in fifteen years acting as a consultant to a number of Am Law 200 firms, regional and super-regional law firms.

Aided by a staff of recruiters, researchers and analysts, Jerry has been instrumental in the growth and expansion of a wide variety of law firms. He serves as a consultant to law firms on growth, expansion, creation of branch offices, acquisition of practice groups, strategic planning, public relations, crisis management and strategic planning.

Jerry also conducts seminars at law firms and speaks at law firm retreats on his areas of expertise and has lectured throughout the world. He is also frequently quoted in the media on issues affecting the legal industry.
